Welcome to the Team.

A message from Greg, Founder & CEO

Hey — thanks for being here. Before you dive into the training materials, I want to give you some context on why UR Bids exists and what we stand for.

How UR Bids Started

I spent years running a specialty contracting business. Like every contractor, I dealt with the same problems over and over — CRMs that charged per user and punished you for growing your team, estimating tools that lived in a completely separate app, no real way to find new jobs or track permits automatically, and scattered project management across spreadsheets and texts.

I tried every platform out there. None of them were built for how contractors actually work. They were built for tech companies and adapted for construction as an afterthought. So I built UR Bids — a platform designed from day one for contractors, by a contractor.

UR Bids combines estimating, lead generation, project management, scopes of work, and invoicing into one platform — with zero per-user fees. That last part matters. Contractors shouldn't be penalized for growing their team.

Our Core Values

Honesty First: Never oversell. Never make promises the product can't keep. Let the platform speak for itself. If UR Bids isn't the right fit for someone, tell them. Trust is everything in construction — and in sales.
Contractor Empathy: We were contractors. We know what it's like to miss a line item and eat the cost. We know what it's like to chase leads manually while trying to run jobs. Lead with that understanding.
Persistence & Hustle: This isn't a sit-back-and-wait kind of role. You need to put in the calls, follow up, and stay disciplined. But always hustle with heart — high activity, real conversations, no spam.
Community Culture: We're building something together. Share what works, help your teammates, celebrate wins. This isn't just a sales job — it's a chance to shape something from the ground up.
Ownership Mentality: Treat this like it's your business. Every conversation matters. Every follow-up counts. The contractors you bring on are counting on us to make their lives easier.

What I Expect From You

Hustle with heart. That means high activity — calls, emails, demos — but always leading with empathy and honesty. Understand the contractor's pain first. Ask questions. Listen. Then show them how UR Bids solves their specific problems. Don't pitch features — solve pain points.

If you bring that energy every day, you'll do well here. And you'll get paid well for it.

Commission Structure

This isn't a one-time payout. You earn 20% recurring commission for 12 months on every customer you bring in. That means every deal you close keeps paying you, month after month.

Your commissions stack. The more customers you sign, the higher your monthly recurring income grows.

PRO CUSTOMER
$70/mo
20% of $349 for 12 months
$838 total per deal
PRO+ CUSTOMER
$40/mo
20% of $199 for 12 months
$478 total per deal
ACCELERATOR

Close 15+ deals in a month and your rate jumps to 25% recurring on every deal that month — retroactively. That's $87/mo per Pro and $50/mo per Pro+.

How Your Income Compounds

Because commissions are recurring, your income grows every month as customers stack. Here's what consistent closing looks like (assuming ~$55/mo avg per customer):

PACE
MONTH 3
MONTH 6
MONTH 12
3/week
$2,000
$3,960
$7,920/mo
5/week
$3,300
$6,600
$13,200/mo
7/week
$4,620
$9,240
$18,480/mo
10/week
$6,600
$13,200
$26,400/mo
3 deals/week
$102K+
Year 1 total earnings
5 deals/week
$142K+
Year 1 total earnings
7 deals/week
$196K+
Year 1 total earnings
10 deals/week
$280K+
Year 1 total earnings
WITH ACCELERATOR (25%)

Hit 15+ deals/month consistently and your year 1 earnings at 5 deals/week jump to $178K+. At 10 deals/week: $350K+.

Commission is paid out monthly. As long as your customers stay subscribed, you keep earning. This is how top SaaS reps build six-figure income — recurring revenue, not one-time payouts.

Let's go build something great together.
